This Masters Course has been successfully implemented over the last five years with funding from the Erasmus Mundus Programme. However, as a result of the highly competitive nature of the selection and the limited budget available, the course was not re-selected under the first call of the second phase of the programme. As a consequence no "Erasmus Mundus scholarships" will be available for this Masters' 2010 intake. The course has demonstrated high quality throughout. In order to ensure the continuity of the programme - the "non-selected status" may prove temporary and only last until the next call - the consortium delivering this Joint Masters course has been awarded by the European Commission/EACEA an Erasmus Mundus Brand Name (EMBN) by which it commits itself to maintain the requirements and level of excellence expected from an Erasmus Mundus Masters Course.
